An open humanoid from UC Berkeley released in 2025 at roughly USD 5,000 in parts, with 3D-printed body components and joints built from printed cycloidal gearboxes driving brushless motors. Its significance: it moves humanoids from 'unaffordable' to 'affordable but labour-intensive' — every engineering file is public, and the price is your own printing and assembly hours.
